January 7, 2014  Cusco, Peru to Copacabana, Bolivia 530km.

Today the roads were similar to back home.  They followed the bottom of the valleys of the mountians.  We never thought we would say this but we actually enjoyed getting up to speed and getting some miles under our belts.

First views of Lake Titicaca

The very painless border crossing at Yunguyo.

January 8, 2014 Rest Day, Copacabana, Bolivia

Trevor woke up with some sort of food poisoning and spent the day in bed throwing up throughout the day.

We woke up to rain and snow this morning. Burrr!  Life at 13,000ft.  Dave hung around for a little while but he has a lot of miles to make south.

Bye Dave, it was great riding with you!
Kyle explored town, there were many cool markets.

Counterfeit money anyone....

The small mountian overlooking town.  It appeared to be some sort of religious hike.  Lots of locals.

Typical Bolivian dress for women.

Tomorrow we will head to La Pax and find some new tires for the desert.
