The next morning Kyle changed out his rear tire while Trevor went searching for a new cigarette plug adapter for our gps.  We are having problems keeping it charged while riding.

On the way out of town we saw many people dressed up for New Years Celebrations.

We motored on spending much of the day high in the altiplano.  We came across a town known for the plant Maca. Maca is a root plant similar to a radish or turnip.   Maca is cooked with other vegtables or dried and made into powder.  People make bread and even beer out of it!  Some even claim it has medical uses to improve fertility....

Giant Maca.

We observed this doubledecker bus passing a van on the outside of a blind corner....

That evening we tried Inca Kola that is very popular down here.  It tasted like a mix between Mountain Dew and Cream Soda.
